The Fastrack Ableton Live course provides students with the practical skills and techniques necessary to produce, record and remix their own music using Ableton Live 7. The course is design for the quick learning of not only the software’s features and capabilities but also a general understanding of home studio basics and the music production process. All classes are hands-on and students apply their newly learned skills to the creation and production of their own songs during class time. By the end of the course students will mastered the essential features of Live, have a solid understanding of the music production process and be able to produced their own music using software, hardware, audio and midi.

This course is ideal for DJ’s and individuals wanting to use Ableton Live and learn about music production, multi track recording and remixing.

Each student has their own Production workstation through out the entire course, including
Mac laptop, Live 7, multiple plug ins, midi controller keyboard, external synth and studio monitors.
Complete hands-on learning through out the entire course
Personal one on one instructing for each course module

Produce and Mix down of two complete songs during class time
Free access to production studio for entire duration of enrolment and beyond
Weekday evening classes
8 hrs total contact time

Attendance

This is a 4 week course.
Students are required to attend one night a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
Classes will start at 6pm sharp and will end at approximately 8pm.
Once placed into a group you will be given a designated night of the week to attend the class.
You will attend the class on the same designated weekday for all 4 weeks of the course.

During our Holiday Courses the same material is covered, however the classes operate during the day as opposed to the regular evenings.
