Fastrack DJ Scratch Course - Mix Masters DJ School

Course Description

As the name implies this course is focused on taking DJ’s with very little or no experience in the art of scratching through a fastrack learning process that will equipped them with a bag of tricks most experienced DJ’s would only dream of having. The course is specially designed to aid in the quick development of these skills and students will be taught each scratch and technique on an individual one on one basis. This course is ideal for beginners and new DJ’s looking to have a very creative and dynamic mixing style and for experienced DJ’s that would like to take their skill set to another level.

The Fastrack Scratch Course is taught entirely on Serato Scratch Live which is now regarded as the international industry standard digital dj system. However if preferred, students may complete the course using traditional music media such as vinyl records or CDs.

Features

2 instructors per class
Limit of 6 students per class
Each student has their own DJ workstation through out the entire course
Each student has their own Mac laptop and Serato Scratch Live system for the entire course
Complete hands-on learning through out the entire course
Personal one on one instructing for each course module
Group Scratch Sessions
Free access to practice studios for entire duration of enrolment and beyond
Weekday evening classes
8 hrs total contact time

Attendance

This is a 4 week course.
Students are required to attend one night a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
Classes will start at 6pm sharp and will end at approximately 8pm.
Once placed into a group you will be given a designated night of the week to attend the class.
You will attend the class on the same designated weekday for all 4 weeks of the course.

Also check out our Holiday courses which coincide with the standard school holiday breaks. During our Holiday Courses the same material is covered, however the classes operate during the day as opposed to the regular evenings.
