Course Description

This is the most comprehensive DJ courses available. It is designed to take beginners and new DJ’s through an extensive training course where they will learn every aspect of DJ’ing, and we really mean all of them! From expert equipment knowledge through to advanced mixing and scratching techniques, students will have direct hands on training and one on one coaching, ensuring that all modules covered are mastered by the time the course is completed. Students will also record their own demo cd which they can use to find work or find and impress a love partner. Very importantly the course also focuses on the ins and outs of the industry and how to go about achieving your Dj’ing aspirations.

The Complete Skills Course is taught entirely on Serato Scratch Live which is now regarded as the international industry standard digital dj system. However, if you like you may complete the course using traditional music media such as vinyl records or CDs. As part of the course students also record live mixes and demo CD’s using professional digital audio interfaces and audio recording software as is common practice in the industry. So upon completing this course students will have the advantage of knowing how to use the industry standard digital dj system and professionally record and edit their dj mixes.

Attendance

This is an 8 week course.
Students are required to attend one night a week for 8 consecutive weeks.
Classes will start at 6pm sharp and will end at approximately 8pm.
Once placed into a group you will be given a designated night of the week to attend the class.
You will attend the class on the same designated weekday for all 8 weeks of the course.
