June Launch of Ableton Courses In Melbourne

Mixmasters DJ School is happy to announce the Launch of Ableton Courses in Melbourne. The first round of Ableton Courses will be carried out as an intensive weekend course on Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd of June. Although we will only be offering the Fastrack Ableton Live Course over the weekend we will shortly be following it up with the Advanced Ableton Course a few weeks after. Now Teaching Ableton Live 7

As of the next teaching round starting May 12 all courses will be taught with Ableton Live 7 and all new features and upgrades will be covered across all the Ableton courses.

Apple Logic Studio and Reason Courses Starting in May

We are excited to announce that we will be lauching a set of fun and results based short courses for Logic Studio and Reason in the upcoming weeks. We have a tentitive lauch date for mid May so keep an eye out for the new course outlines and official dates in the next week or so.

New Pioneer EFX 500 DJ effects units in every booth.
New Sound Bite XL Samplers.
New 20' iMac computers for all studio work stations.
Logic Studio 8, Ableton Live 7 and Native Instruments Komplete 5 Plug Ins pack on all computers.
New Novation NIO soundcardswith on board FXs on all work stations.

Previous Equipment Additions:

Brand new gear through out the facilities! (you can still smell the plastic, mmmm)
New individual DJ booths, with acoustic treatment, wall dividers and closed off curtains.
All DJ booths are equipped with Mac Book Laptops and Serato Scratch Live System
All DJ Booths are equipped with Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 soundcards for Digital recording of your mixes.
We have a whole bunch of Korg KP3’s, Pioneer EFX 1000’s and Roland SP 404 samplers and effects units that you can use anytime you like including your own practice time outside classes. (All free of charge of course)
We have a new music production room with 6 individual production suites for our Ableton Live Courses and Logic Pro Courses .
Each studio set up is equipped with 20inch iMacs, Novation Xio Synths, Novation Remote SL 25s, M- Audio Fatrack Pro soundcards, KRK studio monitors and AKG Studio headphones, not to mention the latest production software and plug ins.
